Your technique, as per usual, is excellent. Perhaps I'm in the minority here but I rather miss the salty language. That's the Kent we all know and love... well, that's the Kent we all know. Let's just leave it at that.

Steven, Jeff Pierce did not write the book, he compiled it. Absolutely true. If I said otherwise it was a mistake and I thank you for the correction. Richard, yes I found the DVD to be quite helpful. Funny thing is after watching the lecture I'm more "in sync" with the material so even the switches that weren't featured on the DVD were more crystalized in my mind after watching it.

Great stuff.

In my experience the reason one packet may look a little larger or smaller is that it is not held exactly square along the performers line of sight. Most faro'ers tilt the deck slightly one way or the other. This is what creates the illusion that one packet is bigger than the other, not the dominant...

Johnny Fox handles it by swallowing the balloon and then takes a sword and starts to swallow it at which point the balloon pops. Granted, it is an indirect proof that the balloon was legitimately swallowed but it resonates with the spectators. Based on the reactions I doubt even 1 in 100 would say h...
