Interesting, thanks Alpen. They went for 12,000. I wonder if the buyer knew they weren't the cups Johnny actually performed with.

Just to be clear, Bill, I'm not trying to be dismissive of your or Richard's research, I find it all fascinating and it's definitely a step in the right direction. Re: Erdnase
While the SF Call article is interesting, I'd be careful about reading too much into it. As the rest of the column deals with bits of news and info concerning the rail industry, it may just be that Andrews was popular among his co-workers or a friend of the author and that the anecdote was more of a...

Re: Eric DeCamps Pure Magic – A Performance of Contemp
I saw Eric's last show and it was great, he has a great performance style and ridiculous chops. Re: Eric DeCamps' New Show
I couldn't agree more with Sal, Tom and George - Eric's show is fantastic. A lot of magicians complain about the quality of magic we see performed and how the public doesn't get exposed to real magicians. The best way to start changing this is to bring our friends and family to see shows like Eric's...

Conjurenation doesn't require a sponsor, you just apply and Chris will decide whether to give you an account. Usually it's based on whether you've contributed to other boards or caused s**t everywhere.

Re: THE HUNTER SHUFFLE.
Sorry Terry, but the Hunter Shuffle (if we can even call it that) is not as deceptive as the Zarrow shuffle because it has a major tell: the exaggerated pushing over of the top cards. If you want to learn to do a no-cover Zarrow properly, buy Gary Plants' manuscript and learn his handling, it's beau...

Bob Farmer published a great overhand full deck false shuffle in one of his Flim Flam columns a couple of years ago. It's a variation on the Garrett/Hunter/Bruce shuffles. I'm not at home right now, so I can't check the exact issue.

In the Greater Artful Dodges of Eddie Fields, Mike Rogers describes how Eddie used to have people shuffle the deck so many times that they either got sick of it, or were sure that there couldn't be a setup. At that point they wouldn't ask to shuffle and would even refuse to if offered. This was main...
