Re: Penn & Teller: Fool Us Season Six

I liked this episode. First, because P & T's Card trick for Copperfield fooled me big time. (I can't help but think there is a book on my shelf that I need to review). Second, I was very pleased to see the dedication at the end of the episode to Mr. Thompson.

Actually, Roy Kueppers is currently moving his operation to Las Vegas https://www.instagram.com/p/BykqPk1HrR9 ... ym0ogrjvui

Re: Best Quality Gimmicked Coins ?...

You can save a lot of money if you are willing to get a single coin with matched shell, then find the other three matching coins on your own. It takes a bit of work at the coin shops in your area, but you'll come out ahead. (I recommend using a micrometer to make sure the coins match in size so they...

Re: Best Quality Gimmicked Coins ?...

Where I think it does make sense to go with one of the custom folks are the gaffs where 3 coins must masquerade as 1. I've examined some cheaper sets and they are not very deceptive up close. I think the same holds true for some of the cheaper large silver coin CSB gaffs I've seen. If they are not m...

I wonder how this will effect the selling price of original decks of Jerry's Nugget cards which can go for as much as $500 apiece. I hold the same opinion as Bill Duncan. These are indeed some very unattractive cards! The only use I have for these and other cards of this ilk, are in packet tricks s...

Domestically, it's held by many that for custom work, Lassen and Schoolcraft are at the top of the heap. They create works of art; however, it will cost you lots of money and often, not a small amount of time. Best way to contact Mr. Lassen is through his Cool Otis blog. If he happens to make someth...

I think one of the reasons they caught on is that they were one of the few casino decks that didn't just look like the boring Bee backed cards. Others from this era I really like are the cards from the Golden Nugget (Green, Brown, Red, and Black) and also the Stardust hotel (white backs). I lucked i...

Regarding the Mullica wallet, I will say that, while no palming is required, and although a wallet within a wallet has its strengths, it will never be as strong as a card inside the zippered compartment of one wallet. I came across the Card in Wallet routine in The Book of John by John Mendoza.
