Re: The End Times Magazine

I received mine last week, plus the extra. In between graduation parties and Mother's day activities, I managed to at least skim through and try out a few items this weekend. Some great stuff in there, Ryan! I hope to find some quiet time this week to pore over it some more and let you know what ite...

Re: The End Times Magazine

Thanks Ryan. It just suddenly dawned on me now that NewHallowThanksmas season is over that I never saw issue #2. I was hoping that I just didn't miss it or it got lost in the mail. Bummer that you didn't get the number of subscribers you were looking for, but I'm happy to hear that the total 4 issue...

Mine showed up yesterday as well. Thanks Richard! Unfortunately, my wife immediately whisked it away, wrapped it up and put it under the tree, so I'll have to wait a bit longer to read it.

Re: Real Secrets Trick of the Month Club...

Mine arrived last Wednesday. I paid my money to be a part of this for several reasons - I was curious about what sounded like some effects that could be pretty special, I felt okay about the people involved, the cost wasn't prohibitive, and if I didn't pay I couldn't be part of the webverse complain...

Re: Magic & Arthritis

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis early last year. It was only affecting my right hand at that point, but it was making slights like classic palming a coin almost impossible. I was referred to a good rheumatologist who put me on Humira. Within a few months. My symptoms were completely gone. I...

New Bikes - faro issues

So, I just picked up a new boxof 12 packs of Bicycles from my local BJ's warehouse club (think Costco). I've heard it rumored that these bulk packs sold at warehouse clubs did not have the same level of quality control, but I'd never really had a problem with them in the past. But the new decks I've...

Anyone know if this is reprinting the material from the two "Fork Full of Appetizers" books that Obie and Bill Miesel put out in the 80's? Is it this material, but updated? New material? Richard (Hatch) - can you let me know some more info?

Okay, now it worked. I think it was the stupid PayPal "bill me later" offer box popping up that was causing the problem. Booked an extra day at the hotel so I can hit WDW on Wednesday. :)

I tried to register yesterday, but when I was transferred to PayPal for payment, it wouldn't let me complete the transaction. There was a wierd blank box over the select payment method section. I finally just had to bail out. Not sure if the glitch was on my end or PayPal. I'll try again today.

75th anniversary of Genii

After happily devouring this month's issue of Genii (cover date of September 2011), I stepped over to the bookshelf when I got home to randomly grab an old back issue for a few quiet minutes of reading. By chance, I grabbed the September 1996 issue, whose cover loudly proclaims 60th anniversary issu...

The hand doesn't have to slap the coins down to the table. Roger Klause printed a handling in Pallbearers Review, which Derek Dingle also used to use, where the right hand is palm up as it tosses the coins to the table. The coin from the left hand joins them invisibly as they are tossed forward. Oo...
