Re: Article in LA Times about Magic Castle
If, from a distance, you feel the need to jump to the worst possible conclusions, I suppose that's your right. The person on this thread who lists performing at the Magic Castle as an apparently proud credit in his sig might want to consider removing it; you can't have it both ways. Meanwhile, thos...

As I said above, This has happened to me, not only by staff, performers, and other Members, but other people (staff, performers, and other Members) heard and either laughed or ignored it... and even outside of the Magic Castle, this has happened to me by other Magicians. As it is now the Magic Castl...

I can't read it because of the paywall, but I can confirm on my self that I have experienced racist remarks and racism from Staff and other members and performers there, and when you bring it up to the management/president I have been ignored or brushed off as a "one-time incident"

I'm unaware of his views on Marriage.
But i'm Glad that legally i can get married now if i want, it was a step towards equality and LoveWon that day, but there are man more steps that need to be taken, i hope our next step is to become a federally Protected class for the GLBTQ+ community!

On a sidenote my favourite move in recent years has being the HOLLINGWORTH OPTICAL ALLIGNMENT by Guy Hollingworth. It is alot easier to do than you would first imagine. And it is is just beautiful. When the card reverses it looks perfect since there is no visible finger movement. A rare thing in sle...

I wonder if they will just close the library on those nights. More non members come to these things than members. Let's see who is more important, cabaret customers or members? We now have some sort of Magic Castle Gestapo, who can even tell the B.O.D., what they can say and do. Heil Magic Castle Da...

Re: Magic Castle Larsen Legacy
As for the Cabarets, very few members actually attend. It is more of guests and friends of the performer. More time, money, and energy is spent on these shows than on magic. In 18 months we will have a new election for the B.O.D.. There are members that plan on running who have a great chance of be...

Because Spectators are not stupid, and it's easy to back track and say he must have looked at it, some how he had to of. maybe they don't know when or how but still the conclusion they come up with.
I guess really thinking about it, you could say the same for any drawing duplication

Re: Magic Castle Larsen Legacy
I can't help but Agree with Milt.
The Castle should be about Magic, I've noticed it's been getting more and more cabaret acts, and a lot of non focused magic. also I've noticed everything is becoming more about power and money.
