Re: Bob Farmer is a Busy Man

From the article Paul campaign manager Jesse Benton said Wednesday that he had received the letter. He called it a non-issue. Such flaps between politicians and professional musicians are not uncommon. Isn't that somewhat disturbing? A political campaign manager who seems to think copyright infringe...

Re: Favorite Discrepancy?

This is a nice thread. I'm glad it was dredged up from 2002. To start with, I never found the flushtration count by itself to be deceptive. Re: Sad News: Martin Gardner has Died

There's hardly a word about his death on google news. I would have expected some news outlet to report on this. Martin Gardner was well known for much more than his magical contributions (most notably for his recreational mathematics contributions). Another great intellect passes on.

Re: Close-up Magic on Letterman

You have may have seen Palmer's cup move once because the chick was under it, but that's better than the alternative, which is what Gali Gali used to do: slam the cups down hard enough to break the chicks' legs so they couldn't move. Wow. I guess PETA wasn't around when he was performing. That's ju...

Re: Close-up Magic on Letterman

also, when I asked for a table, they said no. When I asked if I could put my load bag on the floor or chair.....no. When I asked if I could lay down a mat, or a board to cover the 6" square indention in the table.....no. Had to sit sideways, halfway off the chair, with loads in different place...
