My two cents on this - There was only one prepared deck, the one that was used. Doesn't seem odd that out of all the decks to be picked (there were many brands there) he recieved red bikes? - the ones we use most commonly. The only 'logical' presentation for the T&R Plot I've encountered is Darwin Ortiz's great effect called 'The Marker' which is in his book Cardshark. It isn't a piece by piece restoration but you could perhaps modify elements from his presentation to fashion a more logical and motivated handling ...

Great discussion - as was the thread on Strong Magic. After eagerly awaiting and reading The Book of Secrets my thinking is this - the book was good, but not as great as all the hype. I actually liked Carneycopia better. I realize that I may have a dissenting view here, (& expect to get slammed)...
