Just bumping the thread up.
I understand the illusion was bought by someone in US.
Hopefully the illusion with AMAC's method used will see the light of the day, ALTHOUGH I doubt is as the setting takes a whole day.
Granville did put out DVD where he is performing the illusion himself.

I've seen one that sounds like this. I was just a photocopy of the book that someone had hardbound. No Bill, The one I saw wasn't a photocopy. Far as I remember the inside was very similar to the above listing. It just had a dark black hard cover. It was so long ago that shipping from US to UK wasn...

Re: Brass Ring Box Help..........
Thanks Dustin. I've tried to force hard from the inside of the lid so my guess is its the bottom gimmick. I don't want to press the cusion too hard. maybe if I insert a flat object via the slit and push, it might dislodge the gimmick. i've used a "Sing Sing Ring Box" before and only a gent...

Brass Ring Box Help..........
Hi, Just got this brass box in a job lot. Looks similar to "Sing Sing Ring Box" apart from the fact that the lid is much taller and in the base there is a slotted cushion. The base has the same circular pattern as the top of the lid. I haven't got instructions for this and I don't want to ...

Sorry to bring this old topic up. Price of a full set seems a lot less now than year 2003. I've just acquired a signed first volume and I was just wondering what it would be worth in todays money ?? Many years ago (2001 2002 I think) I foolishly sold a full set for £20 (pounds). I've been regretting...

Thanks for the info marco.
I ment the one used by J. N. Maskelyne.

Are there any early images/pics of any of the one used by J. N. Maskelyne ?? In an old mag, newspaper or otherwise.

What are the stakes? They can hardly use the awards' photos in their publicity, especially if they want to get high class bookings. Who wants to book a scruffy magician? It also shows the recipients don't have much respect for the awards. You hit the nail on the head there Q.
