Thanks for this. A great trick indeed. And yes, the ring vanish that Copperfield did was the Ringo vanish.

The History of Ringo

Hi All - When I was a kid there was a trick marketed called Ringo - the Tannen's catalog credits "Bruno" with the effect. Well, it was one of my favorite tricks back then, and now, as an "adult," I realize that it truly is a fantastic effect that combines an unsuspected physical ...

Re: New David Regal Book Coming in September

Many, many, MANY people have written to me saying "When will the book be in magic shops?" For now, I am the only one selling Interpreting Magic , and for a good reason: I paid for the printing costs personally, and those costs were high - I spared no expense. When I die they'll say: "...

From the review of Interpreting Magic in today's Magicseen Magazine:

"If the book consisted of only the tricks, it would already be a "Must Buy," but that is only one third of the book's content."

I admit I've been clicking on the Genii website for a few days now, waiting for the November issue and the review of Interpreting Magic . The review, by Francis Menotti, has been published, and here is the first paragraph: "David Regal is not human. Over the hours, no-days-of thoroughly digesti...

Interpreting Magic is large, about 6 pounds, and that $45 overseas shipping charge is actually a greatly discounted rate. For me to ship the book internationally, personally, I would have to p...

Re: New David Regal Book Coming in September

Yes, it's the same gathering of assets during the "Whispering Queens" portion of the effect - the assets are then put to work differently. An effect occurs at the end that pushes things in an interesting way. By that I mean it is an escalation, the climax, and I wasn't even sure an audienc...

Hi All -

There was an archived file on my site causing some false positives from Norton Utilities. I spent some bucks to clear up the problem, and it should be fine for everyone now. I spoke to my web host and their technicians went over it as well. The site is absolutely safe.

I understand the outrage of Jamy Ian Swiss, Ricky Jay and others at the hubris and misinformed nature of Mr. Stone's comments.
