John Carney does an amazing version of this trick. He removes a petal from a white rose and shakes it around in a large brandy glass untill it becomes an egg. It is described in his Book of Secrets.

Yes it happened to mine as well. I think it is an inherent problem with the case design. I am probably going to copy the cover and make up individual jewel cases for the discs.

If you spray out high over the audience with a wide sweeping arc I doubt that it would make much of a mess. The higher you spray the more the string will tend to dry out and harden before it lands on expensive clothing.

I really like Bob Cassidys 4th dimensional telepathy routine. Theres plenty of opportunity for some cold reading and some laughs. The method is simple and direct. I do find however that some people are afraid to lick the envelope flaps themselves. Still working on my swine flu jokes.
