Un-popping a deck: Faro the deck together half face up, half face down. Put in card box and put in a tight card guard/clip. Place in freezer over night. Oddly I had just (re)read that issue today. It was an excellent issue. I would add people love being fooled by a gentleman who loves magic, and who isn't afraid to call him or herself a magician.

I would do the trick in the "Our Monthly Telephone" column. On page 401 from the September, 1907 issue of "The Wizard" Vol.3-no.25.

It uses 4 little pieces of paper and kills!

O.K. Here is a real radical idea! Use NEW 2002 half dollars. That's right folkerinos they still make 'em. Go buy a big fat roll and use them to buy stuff..... Start USING them... for everyday stuff. You could be real cutting edge and say "Hey LOOK did you know they still made these coins?"...
