Wait, $40 for an ebook? I skimmed and missed that.
Unbelievable. I fear we are in end times, as far as magic goes.

Royal, indeed. Have you got any experience insured air expediting anything to the UK, Europe or Asia? I do. You get raped both ways. Shipping between states is always cheaper, but you might no know that if you've never had to send a large valuable package to the UK. I note that the price for 100% S...

I charge exactly what it costs me to ship the book. Since surface mail was discontinued by the Post Office, there is no inexpensive way to ship things overseas. You have a choice of expensive and slightly-less-expensive. And I have no problem with that. I just don't think it's fair to pick at a guy...

Re: Castle Notebooks For Sale
Dustin, I can see how hunting for a certain number would be a pain if you had a bunch of boxes to go through!
I'm just curious about the numbers. I like to get a lower number when obtaining numbered copies (just a thing I have), but it won't stop me bidding if it's a lucky dip.

A mistake? Unique? Street magic isn't unique. It has parallels with bar magic, trade show magic, working close up in restaurants for buck's and hen's nights, and doing comedy magic in less forgiving night clubs. All of which I have done. While each of these genres has specific differences, they each...

Many of Mark's observations on performance skills are right on the money - more so than 95% of members here. On the other hand he flounders when attempting to contribute to more nuanced discussions, but he's not alone there. I vote he stays. His baiting is so obvious it's like punctuation. I don't e...

Justin While Vernon may have said Jack McMillen's card rise was his inspiration for Triumph in the Revelations tapes, he is both right and wrong. What he's really saying is that as a short answer, yes. The short answer, however, is a gross simplification because the real answer would take far too m...

Armando Lucero's "Empanada" is unbelievable--and unbelievably difficult to do well. You need at least three years of advanced card handling experience to sign up for his lecture. I disagree. It's not nearly as difficult as you imagine and frankly, does not live up to the hype attributed t...

Young Nathan is being rather silly again. I must say that it is very tiresome to be continually educating him. He is talking tosh again. Nathan, my boy. Methinks you do not know what a lecturer's pointer actually is. It is the size of a pen. And in fact the one I have IS a pen. However, it is telescopic and folds up so it can be carried in a pocket. It has a pocket clip just like a pen does. The advantage of such is that you can car...

When I do the cups and balls I do not use a wand. Who the hell wants to carry a wand about with them? And when I do ring on stick I use Harry Lorayne's excellent idea of using a lecturer's pointer. That way the trick becomes an impromptu one. But who the hell wants to carry a lecturer's pointer aro...

I'd like to see Bob White release a DVD of card effects. And the icing on the cake, a hardcover book.
I agree it'd be nice to see Chuck Smith on DVD. I'd also like to see a HC book by Steve Freeman. And also a book on the terrific Bernard Bilis.
