There is money to be made by selling CD's, but the real money is in the live shows.

I'm a professional musician and let me tell you the real money is in live shows. I'm happy to give away free CD's it's great promotion.

Tower did not sell ciggarettes.

Tower sold music.
When people figured out how to get free music they stopped purchaing it at Tower.
When Tower stopped selling music it closed.

Tower Records of Northeast Philadelphia also sold Ellusionist decks! This was really cool, because I could simply by a deck with cash, no need for shipping charges and waiting time. And don't forget about damaged cause by shipping and poorly packed items.
