The two volume set will only be sold together.
When I first reprinted in 1994, I used the very first printing of Greater Magic. This time I will use a later revised printing that corrected many errors in the original.

Re: Videos of All 6 New Tenyo Items for 2019

I really don't know. My understanding is that versions of it have been sold before, but poorly made, in Asia. I don't follow prop magic so am not sure of the details. It sure fools the hell out of me! I like all the tricks to greater or lesser degrees. The one with the magical reassembly of the port...

Re: Greater Magic to Become Even Greater

Here's a wee update. With DeLand about a week away from going to the printer, Greater Magic has been tugging at my attention.

Have been looking over John Northern Hilliard's notes, mostly skimming, and have found an entire chapter that he wanted to include in Greater Magic that was left out!

I would be hard pressed to think of an audience where cutting open your scrotum would be appropriate other than a strip club.

You missed the ending. The wrong card was from his scrotum, while the chosen signed card was revealed to have been on top of the deck (after an indifferent card was shown there prior to putting it down).

“Copperfield Trial Over. Victim Loses.” Emphasis on Victim Loses. Maybe I’m falling for the “scam,” as some have called it, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I believe Cox was seriously hurt. I don’t think he’s a “potato head,” or an “idiot.” I don’t think he is faking his injuries. I ...

Erdnase was neither a gambler nor a card cheat. He was a magician. That is a definitive statement from which I will not be shaken. There is much evidence in the text of the book to back this up. And yet, Erdnase mentions on several occasions having played cards for money (often losing), but never o...

There are large photos of every card, in color, in the book. Every back design is shown (many of which are original with DeLand). It would cost about $16 per book just for the four decks, which is a lot. The book itself is half the size of Tenyoism (one volume of 600+ pages rather than two), but act...

Jonathan, DeLand used different backs at different times, but eventually settled on a Steamboat red and black plaid.
