Yes, that would be the price if we were to sell it separately. But we don't sell it separately at this time.

Re: Who invented convincing control

It was Jennings, and he called it Immediate Bottom Placement. He did it for Alton Sharpe, who explained it to Ed Marlo over the phone, who immediately put it in print. You can find the history in Jennings '67. This is not up for discussion--both Johnny Thompson and Brother Hamman were there when Sha...

Re: Scientists Should Use Magic to Study Animal Intelligence

I have always practiced my "put" and "take" coin vanishes for my cat (or cats, since this goes back many cats). All you can extract from their reaction is whether you are moving the correct hand after the supposed deposit or take of the coin. Obviously you want the animal to watc...

There's certainly no reason to be hesitant to face that you won't realize all of your dreams. I certainly have not realized all of mine, though I have a lot to be thankful for. There are so many amazing people and magicians I wanted to meet that I never will because of procrastination or misguided p...

Re: "Distilled" by Ryan Plunkett: opinions, please?

Since I have been a writer of magic books for, oy, 45 years, I generally don't comment in public anymore about others' writing.
At this point, if the writing in a book does the job and explains what it aims to, that's enough for me. That's sometimes how I write when I want to keep it lean.

That table of contents is still fairly accurate, though a few items have been moved into the Tough book, along with all of Chapter Eight (which can now be expanded to include wallet tricks that use palms).

Re: Frank Csuri notes

All of the Vernon material from the Csuri notes has already been published (or at least most of it).
The subsequent volumes of The Lost Chronicles were supposed to contain the Vernon material from the Castle Notebooks.
Jennings had a lot of Vernon material that has never been located.

We already have a website set up for this, Conjuring Credits, to which many talented people contribute. What is the point of starting your own website that will be seen by far fewer people. Your time would be better spent contributing to Conjuring Credits.
