Re: Justin's levitation

I saw it last night. I had to stand from where I was sitting, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see anything. The illusion was perfect. He really did look like he was floating. Nothing below his feet except empty space. If he could create better sight lines for the routine (maybe performing it ...

I just called Mr. Kaufman on the phone and we came to an agreement regarding advertising. For those who are losing sleep at night, because of my lack of advertising dollars going to Genii, you may now sleep sound. You'll see a banner ad soon enough. For those who have no interest in growing their bu...

I find your post amusing, since you have no clue as to why I do the things I do, and I have no intention of spelling out my business plan to you or anyone else. Thanks for taking so much time responding to my post, although you added nothing to the topic. I hope your time spent here pays well (I'm j...

Re: Social Media, Facebook, and a Guitar Solo. What does this have to do with marketing?

I assume you measure the success of where you spam and how much revenue that generates? Someone that talks about the things you do must do that basic marketing activity. Measurement. How many sales does spamming here make you? If it is less than the 25 bucks Mr K wants for an ad, I'd really give it...

My thinking was it would be extremely difficult in the current economic climate for someone wanting to start out in say "trade shows" From my perspective there just doesn't seem to be nearly as many trade shows as there was 10-20 years ago. I have attended and exhibited in probably 100+ t...

Re: How To Book A Country Club Gig

Dustin, you're absolutely correct. There is a private CC out by where I live where I fill-in for the resident magician from time to time, and the restaurant is open to the public. I found it a little odd at first, until I realized this isn't unusual.

Thanks Scott, I guess California is different from Winnipeg. The country clubs out here are all privately run.
