Ken Klosterman owned the Salt Shaker from the "Mark of Zorro". I believe it was sold at auction already.
Interesting fact is that they used pepper instead of salt so it would show up better in black and white.

Re: Tyrone Power?
Tyrone Power did a salt shaker salt vanish in the Zorro movie. Ken Klosterman owned it at one time. When the salt did not show up well in the black and white movie, they used pepper.

Re: Klosterman Collection Auction
I need to clarify my earlier statement that Ken owned his magic. I was repeating what Ken had told me for years was the case. He always said "I own the house, ten acres and my magic". It know has become clear (at least to me) that everything had been put into the trust which would have mad...

I had not heard that about Houdini mishandling funds. I do know (printed in the Sphinx) that until Houdini's death Martinka (his shop) was the exclusive agent for the Sphinx magazine. Yes Jinger and Sherrie are both in the 1903 version. All I can think is that how bad the New York papers panned this show last year. Yet, they set record numbers on Broadway and Touring. Maybe they know something the critics don't. It is a different type of magic show then most of us are used to. Bu...
