Re: Kellar Documentary

Hi Richard, Nice that you are still around as well. I haven’t seen Borgia in a few years and have yet to go to the club. Still, Lisa would be the only one that would be in charge of this project if indeed it sees the light. Hope you are well. Bill’s former house is just a lot now. I have some stuff ...

Bill, Our Friend here in the Erie, Pa area was behind this project. Sadly, he died of cancer on November 2018. His wife Lisa survives him but moved away. I can ask her her through facebook but he was ill and could not finish this project form what I recall. He was a great guy and loved the history o...

Re: Swindle Cut Aces

Bob,
I found an effect in Neil's notebook titled ' swindle aces' . It does not mention spectators cutting. In a separate index of his notes, he lists ' spectator cuts to aces' .. 15 methods. But, there are pages of stuff I still have to go through when I have some time. Okay?

Re: Swindle Cut Aces

I have Neil Elias' personal notes given to me by his Late friend , and mine, Bill Miesel. I posted this before. After a quick look, there are a lot of ace cutting routines. He mentions his solutions / plots for these as posed by Marlo and Bert Fenn. It's a lot to go through, sorry. Will do so when I...

I have the metal card with magnetic spots. None are even frayed after all these years. I am unaware of other versions. I think I got this from either Gene Gordon's house of magic in Buffalo or in Canada on Clifton hill at the Houdini museum in 1978 or 1979. I know it was one of those for sure but I ...

Very Sad. I bought the 1982 VHS lecture in the late 80's. In 2006, I found an address for Steve and wrote a letter telling him how impressive this was then but still was today. He responded back and exchanged emails. Once he knew you were legit, he allowed you in his circle and that great mind. He w...

Tim,
No idea. But why when there are so many ways to do this with normal cards. I am sure many others will chime in but think. Think number forces and perhaps the clock effect. Perhaps you just needed a reference to that one purchased effect. Sorry, never heard of it.

Hello Philippe,
This question also came up here in 2008. Please seek information on Dr. Franklin v. Taylor, The Phoenix and also; " My Best" by J.G. Thompson, jr. Page 111. Hope that helps. Wishing all will be well in Paris.

Re: Source for this 'force'

The effect is called The Voodoo card. It can be found in Guy Hollingworth's book, Drawing Room Deceptions page 14 ..the prologue. Also, see The art of Astonishment by Paul Harris, vol. 3, page 303. The effect is based on a Steranko routine. Hope this helps.

Field sobriety test by Paul green. Elmwood magic. I did a Halloween show with it based on a witch test. The lenz law principle can easily be masked by presentation.
