Re: Magic on Demand
I usually have rubber bands with me, so that's typically my first "go-to" but if I literally have nothing on me - I do the "blister finger" using one of the holes on my belt to make the blister. They pick a finger on one hand, I put a blister on the same finger of the other hand ...

Thanks for posting the link Charlie - I've always loved hypercard - had hypercard business cards at one point. Was it inspired from Monday magic lunch? Great site. I'm sure I'll spend too much time pouring through it, LOL!

Re: Out of Sight by Joshua Jay
I saw somewhere (can't remember where) the idea of blindfolding the spectator - so that they're "blind" in the moment. Not sure exactly how this would be worked out in the full routine, but an interesting idea. I have to have reading glasses as well. Haven't performed it yet either. Great ...

Martinka Coin Club Releases 1-7
I've got a set of the first seven releases from Martina's Coin Club mint in package. Release 1 - Hole 3.0 - a hole drilled into a half dollar moves (it really does physically move), then a keyring magically links to it, then is handed out for examination. Release 2 - Minted - A tic tac is "fed&...

I have a Punx Soap Bubble set by Ted Lesley for sale. I think the original price was around $300. The effect is this: pull out a glass pipe, and blow several soap bubbles with it. It's a really cool hand blown glass pipe. You then reach up and catch one of the bubbles, which is now a solid glass sph...

Penn & Teller did a C&B with clear plastic drinking cups on their "Home Invasion" TV Special. It was basically just revealing the whole trick, but Teller does it so well, even then it was kind of confusing as to exactly what was going on.

There are also a variety of coins with holes in them that are not oriental in nature. An East African dime, for instance, is the size of a half dollar and has a hole in it.
