Nice video David, thanks for posting this. The effect works well in our dark and damp pubs in England!

This really is a superb book and in my 'Top Ten' published conjuring books, ever. An absolute pleasure to read and study from. You can almost hear Pat talking as you read! Now, that's real Magic. What a wonderful job by all involved and a true testament to Pat's great thinking. Thank you. I'd also h...

Xabi, you are very welcome to visit me in Somerset should you wish to read the Elmsley effect. 10 mins. M5 Jct. 25. I don't have the Kaps routine but have Derren's 'Smoke' which is published in 'Pure Effect'.
Hope this helps.

Arrived last Friday in Somerset, England. Great read, also really enjoyed the Tenyo demos online. My vote for ' Best Genii' of the year is the Thurston issue closely followed by the Erdnase issue. Anyone else have a favorite issue?

Hi Wolfgang Looking at the photo from ebay,(first time I've seen one), I was reminded of 'The Rope Mender' from Nelms' 'Magic and Showmanship'. I should imagine you would do the standard 'cut' bit for the C&R rope thus leaving a small piece tied around the centre, then, as the rope goes in the b...

It's Derren.
The best thing to do is check out what the book is going for on Ebay. I don't mean the 'Buy it now' listings but watch them and see what they go for end of auction. I'd say on average around 100.
Hope this helps.

Dover UK shows it in stock but you have to fill a load of forms out to see if it's in your cart, including bank and personal details etc. They probably just want personal info. I have the Taschen book and am glad Taschen protested. The book is a work of art and to rip it off is an insult to the publ...

Re: Proper Use of the Pass
Hi Zack,
I also love the Classic Pass but the mechanics of it are not as important as your surroundings. If you can perform the pass in a natural manner it will suffice. It really is dependent on what you want to achieve, and the effect you want to portray.

So we seem to have a forum about 'getting' a book but has anyone actually read it ? Maybe even studied it?
And maybe, be in the position to comment on it?
I'd love to hear some unbiased reviews?
What do you think?

Re: Paul Daniels Makes His Wig Vanish
That's 1100 in funny money.
I'm informed that the cash is going to a charity, although Paul doesn't name which one.
If I was the winning bidder, I'd be asking myself, "To Pay, or not to pay, that is the Question"

Re: What is your favorite torn and restored card effect?
I like the idea of the restoration in two parts, ie burnt back and corner missing then card whole again and clean. The first tear could be an indifferent card (back only shown). The reversed card, burnt etc could also be an indifferent card perhaps, spectator assumes it's gone wrong as you show only...
