Learned gents, Despite my searches, I can't track down the name of and creator of the following holdout/switch twingy. I humbly request your assistance. You hold a packet of, say, eight face-up cards. Unbeknownst to the crowd, four face-down Aces (or whatever cards you wish to force or switch) are b...

Re: Penn &Teller: Fool Us Season 5

A method occurred to me as I was watching Danny's cool effect. Perhaps he had a special vertical, clear piece of plastic or glass affixed to the front of his performing area. The two lights shined onto the glass to prevent reflections. It appeared that he was sticking the blocks to the glass. He wav...

What a shame. I've been a big fan of his work since the 70's. I used to own an album of his on which he read "Shatterday" and "Repent Harlequin Said the Tick-Tock Man." Unfortunately, it mysteriously vanished. He also wrote the cool, wacky "A Boy and His Dog." It was tu...

Richard,

USPCC originally printed my "Son of Hyper-warp" gaffs with Rider backs. When they stopped altering Rider backs, I switched to Maidens. The difference in appearance is negligible. I highly recommend the Maidens.

Many years ago at Fechter's, I saw John Carney perform an elegant routine with coins and a transparent silk. I don't recall if it was his routine. If it was his routine, I don't know if he ever published it.

During Shin Lim's second performance on Fool Us, some unintended magic occurs. His shirt sleeves magically move up and down his arm. Erdnasephile,

Their realization that they were being played against each other by Vernon was a thought. It was intellectual.

Their rivalry for Vernon's approval was emotional.

It’s exquisite, hyperglycemic eye candy! My hero Del Ray would have loved the routine. But, as Richard stated, it’s too perfect.
