Re: Owen's Gossamer Flight and Losander Deluxe Table

Gossamer Flight reduced to $3,000 + shipping from Panama, capped at $500 maximum wherever you are in the world. (If for some bizarre reason it's more, I'll pay.) This thing is from the factory, only used a few times, in good shape. Have had a few offers and back and forths and then just folks vanish...

Morgan Dollar Gaff Set

From the Mark Mason 'Come Fly with Me' DVD. Coins only, (no DVD) good condition, $300. Never used them for the original routine but always seemed like a damn handy set, for a variety of applications, to me. I am staying in Bushwick, Brooklyn for the coming weeks. Prefer New York area/in person to sh...

Re: 2009: The Year You Finally Figure Out Coin Magic.

I'll second this being a great addition to anyone's library that has an interest in Coin Magic. I think it would be safe to say the from now on, no one should read or have read Bobo's without the Pocketbook.

Re: Criss Angel's Life Turns into a Situation Comedy

Okay, interesting. I believe the ability to put what is it, 34 million dollars into the show qualifies as an amazing trust fund, even by rather wealthy standards, as per my post. Especially if you're not going to turn a profit. (Speaking of Wyrick.) Don't know about the princess lady. The main point...

Re: Criss Angel's Life Turns into a Situation Comedy

He didn't have a trust fund. Getting your mom to get a second mortgage on the house to finance a magic show when she can scarcely afford it isn't exactly 'sugar daddy', either, in my opinion. It's a close family and one hell of a leap together. No comment either way on the rest, but guys like David ...

Re: Magic Live! 2009

I've was never thrilled with the Orleans showroom (if you get stuck on one of the sides it's not fun), and I've seen everyone from Copperfield to the World's Greatest Magic Show in a cabaret style setting. Maybe it's not such a bad thing?

Re: Magic Live! 2009

I'm having the same quandary, I was so sure I was going to go to FISM and now...not so sure. Is it worth it? I'm so big on lectures and dealers rooms, but less so on contests. Magic Live! is a known quality, and one way or another has to come first for me.

Re: The Shakespeare Experiment book test

I'm probably going to pick this up as soon as I'm back in range of a U.S. mailing address as it sounds wonderful and I've never been disappointed by a Miracle Factory purchase. I don't see anything wrong with Damian's questions, however. They help clarify a few things that I myself were wondering ab...

Re: Cuban Magic

A buddy of mine living here in Panama is Cuban, though he left a long time ago. Another friend just moved to Miami, but spent most of his life in Cuba. Apparently there is still a fairly active community, who've learned to build almost everything they need on their own and be fairly inventive. My un...

Re: Breaking news - Criss Angel Delayed Again - WHAT A FARCE !

I'm no huge fan of Criss Angel, but you guys with the scathing criticism are pretty amazing. I've found that putting on even small stage shows can be a major headache fraught with delays and issues. Give the guy a break! I also highly doubt that Cirque, which is a highly successful business venture,...

Curtis Kam has a pretty nice layout production, that involves a purse, I believe on the second Palms of Steel DVD, lots of coins.

For the last month or so, Mason has been working on a logo and some other designs for me. The Genii forums aren't normally where I would look for this kind of service, but when I saw some of his past work, I decided to give him a shot. His prices may seem low, but Mason does at least a $1,500 job ev...

Re: Next MAGIC Live! Convention Dates Announced

You fellows had me nervous that Magic Live! was actually on the same dates as FISM!

Such is not the case, however. I am signed up for Magic Live!, but it is quite possible to make FISM also, which is what I was hoping to do.
