Re: Dunninger Facebook auction
FYI-- The wooden barrel escape - was NOT a deleted scene in the Tony Curtis film. In the film, Houdini is shown emerging from his curtained cabinet, with the still-roped barrel on its side...as "Otto" counts down the seconds. This immediately precedes the scene with Houdini being challenge...

Mad magazine's 5-page "Dumminger-Master Mentalist" parody, stands out in my mind.
Were there other Magic personalities that had been spoofed in Mad, throughout the decades?
Perhaps, Kreskin; Bixby's "The Magician"; or Copperfield?
Does anyone recall?

I would not blame Starbucks for enacting a "cease & desist" for this video - for deformation of their brand/reputation. We KNOW its a trick (with a nod to Merv Taylor's "Por-Mor-Fil-Mor") - but the public does not... and I'm sure that many would accept this video as a legit c...

Oh, I didn't realize that the wine glass was 4 foot tall!
Forget about a production made from under a large silk or foulard...A bed sheet might be more appropriate.
Even the above DVD won't help with that size of glass!

How to produce a BIG (over 20" tall) beverage glass.
