Re: New David Blaine Event

When there is so much high-tech equipment involved, a safety crew in communication, multiple cameras, and a decade of planning...it takes away much of the thrill (for me).

38 years ago, Larry Walters didn't need all of that...He just did it...

The Plans can be found in Grant's booklet, entitled: "Slash: A Bargain in Grant's Great Secrets - 32 Tricks and Illusions".

Under (reader's) "Comments" - the second posting ("TexasBee") details a performance at the Magic Castle of KRESKIN, circa early 1970's. I find that hard to be believe. More likely the performer was Glen Falkenstein, Gene Marvin, or any one of several Mentalists of the day. Kreski...

Oh, I didn't realize that the wine glass was 4 foot tall!

Forget about a production made from under a large silk or foulard...A bed sheet might be more appropriate.

Even the above DVD won't help with that size of glass!

There is a use for it.......As an production item from beneath a cloth.

This is exactly what Sean Scott teaches on his "Margarita XL" DVD.

How to produce a BIG (over 20" tall) beverage glass.
