Re: looking for a credit for the Jinx Switch
Thank you Jim! So is that where the name of the move came from, or is it just a coincidence?

looking for a credit for the Jinx Switch
Hi guys, I'm writing up a routine that uses the Jinx Switch and I'm wondering what I should put as a reference for it. It's mentioned in the Art of Astonishment books but I understand that it goes back a lot further than that. any help would be most appreciated. thank you in advance, Oliver

Re: Michael Close Essay - Hidden Assumptions
Excellent thread, Joe.
I seem to recall a passage in Strong Magic as well listing assumptions that spectators would make if you removed a deck from its case and placed it on the table (all cards different, deck made of card, table solid, etc.)

Hi all,
I recently finished reading Pete McCabe's Scripting Magic. I thoroughly enjoyed it and want to send him a thank you email -
does anyone have a current email address for him?
Thanks,

stuck on a sticker trick
hi all, I'm trying to find a reference to a Paul Gertner trick where he adds a pip-shaped sticker to a wrong card to make it resemble the right card, then it really becomes the right card. I know it's mentioned in Strong Magic but I was wondering if it's written up fully anywhere? thanks in advance ...

Little Bunny Reference
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me track down an elusive reference. I don't know the name of the trick I'm looking for which is hindering me! It's the one where a spectator turns cards face up and face down and then you reveal that you have correctly predicted: a) the number of face up cards b) ...
