Re: Searching for the Zen Spread

I wasn't clear about my background in hoping to find the Zen Spread explanation. The previous post said that I wanted it for free and should instead pay for it. That's not actually the case. I had subscribed to Genii for many years and had saved the pages for the effect and for the Zen Spread instru...

Re: Searching for the Zen Spread

Yes, I realize I could recover the Zen Spread explanation by (re)subscribing to Genii, but I was hoping that the Zen Spread would be available elsewhere; for example, on a web site that described sleights. So, again, any help in locating it would be appreciated!

Searching for the Zen Spread

In a Magicana article in an issue of Genii over ten years ago in, Jack Parker's "In, On, and Under" was described. The Zen Spread was part of that description and was in the same issue, found with the effect, "Traveling Without Moving". I have lost track of that issue of Genii. C...

I am looking for a replacement set of cards for the "Poor Charlie" trick. I ordered my first set from Gary Plant in 2004, but he just emailed me that he is in the process of moving and doesn't know if he will be making any more. Does any one know if there is another source for the (Derek D...

Trying to find the Bob Farmer Magicana trick

I have lost track of the Bob Farmer card trick from the Genii issue a few months back. It was a transposition of Kings and Aces and used the Elmsley Count (are we surprised that Bob used the Elmsley Count?). I must have misplaced the issue of "Genii" that it was in, as I can't find it. Any...

The Lybrary.com site seems to list only material that comes at a cost. The routine I'm looking for was a free download, found in a list of archived back issues. I can't seem to come up with any freebies on the Lybrary.com site. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

Web location for Marko's "A Colorful Routine"?

You're right about the inner right corner not working out. I correct this by crimping the outer left corner at the beginning. Then everything works fine.

Black Sharpie/Red Ink -- What trick is this?

What trick is it that uses a black Sharpie pen and has a red ink cartridge inside it? I made one up a while ago and have since lost track of its name or location. Was it in a "Magicana" section in Genii?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Missing move in "LuLu Lemon"?

The directions for "LuLu Lemon" (Sept., Genii issue) seem to be missing a move. The first part of the effect says to riffle down the deck about 15 cards and then "turn these cards face up onto the deck and outjogged..." The magi is next to "remove the face-down card (the cri...
