Earl Nelson, Germain’s Cards in Glass

I seem to remember seeing somewhere that Earl performed a version of Germain’s Cards in Glass (where the chosen cards come to the front when covered be a handkerchief). Does anyone know anything about this?

I have been performing my own presentation for Dr. Jaks’ Scarab routine for quite some time. It uses a Brainwave deck.

Need help with a Clarence Miller item

A friend passed away last year and left me his magic collection. There are two Clarence Miller items, one of which appears to be a rattle box. It seems that it might somehow open, but I can't figure out how it works: he left no instructions.

If you have an answer on this, PM me.

Eugene's Story

It has been nearly six weeks since Eugene passed away, and I thought I was finally coming to grips with it. I read the tribute tonight and realized there is so much more time and healing needed... He had such a profound impact on me and on my magic; I'm just so thankful I had the chance to tell him ...

Routine Skinner explains on the Skinner Tapes dvd

On Disc one, Michael performed and explained (with the glitches) what is listed as Bro. Hamman's Transposition. I believe he also performs this on Disc Two as well. This is the "Follow the Leader" type routine where he's using blue backs and red backs instead of the faces of the cards. Doe...

LF Receipt props from August 2012 Genii issue

My subscription had lapsed right before moving, and I never got the paper copy of this issue. Having read the effect in the digital version, I'd like to have the props for the routine.

PM me if you have these, or the issue, available.

Re: New from Kaufman and Company: The Skinner Tapes

Richard, I'm just wondering. I read that the CDs were produced after narrowing down from over 30 hours of audio. Were the recordings not included just repetitions of things he'd already discussed, or was it a quality issue? I'm assuming that you left out a lot that wouldn't interest most magicians. ...

Ok, I goofed; they weren't jokers...just four red backed cards and four blue backed cards. He used spot cards, not that it really matters.
