Re: Spectating v.s. Performing

I can truly appreciate how you feel. Performing is such a great confidence builder especially on days when you need a boost from a stressful or long day at work. Also, people just treat you w/ more respect than they did before the act.

Spectating v.s. Performing

Just for the sake of useless trivia, I was just curious to know, how many of us get a more emotional high from being amazed while watching a performer than by recieving reactions from the audience after our own show? Sure, many of us will argue that it's not the same but if we had to choose only one...

Re: travelling by plane

Whenever I travel to the Philippines or China and back to America, I personally carry similar items in my luggage all the time. When security looks through it, they ask me what it's for and I just tell them I perform magic and they have no problem. Sorry, I'm not sure if your "deal or no deal&q...

Re: What to Do with your Economic Stimulus Check from the Government

That is true, especially when it comes to personal investments, right now actually is the best time to purchase a flolder/ or folders due to the fact that the price is low. I'm too young to recall the economic crisis that happened in the 80's, but one of my student's parents made a fortune when the ...

Re: Blaine's Breathless Stunt on Oprah

Rennie, at your request I will answer you and everyone here fully and with honesty. Let's put it this way. If I only had a choice between watching David Blaine on the Oprah show and watching David Copperfield perform a grand illusion on the "Fox" channel, I would unhesitatingly watch David...

Re: "Fast Company" dvd by Damian Nieman

Hey guys, I really appreciate your feedback in terms of the quality of the 2nd disc. Blair, it's good to hear that Damian is generous enough to help out with replacements. I'm actually considering buying the disc from him in order to save me from the worry. The reason I was so concerned about this i...

Re: "Fast Company" dvd by Andy Nieman

Rennie, I really appreciate you posting this link on here. And yes, that was pretty "mindblowing" and really clean as well. So clean that it bugs the living hell out of me! It's hard for me to imagine that the deck was not stacked prior to the show (unless Malone has some super extraordina...

Re: Blaine's Breathless Stunt on Oprah

I give a [censored]! Why should we not? It's common now a days to see magicians performing illusion's that people know are not real or performing things that our imaginations can only dream of. However, David Blaine is turning fiction into fact and is a step towards our evolution that he's exposing ...

Re: "Fast Company" dvd by Damian Nieman

Thanks for the help Blair. I think Damian and co. made the price demanding due to the quality of the production and unique material presented in the dvd. As I mentioned in another thread, the second disc may be suspect because some people have complained about it not functioning properly, but I'm st...

Re: "Fast Company" dvd by Andy Nieman

Hey Arnie, thank you so much. I just looked at the link and it was very helpful. I noticed some people who bought the dvd were having some complications with the second disc: it had skipping problems. Everyone seemed satisfied with the material however. I think I will purchase it but I'll make sure ...

Re: "Fast Company" dvd by Andy Nieman

David hit this one right on the nose. For some reason, I was thinking of Alfred E. Neuman but I still miscalled Damians real name... and Alfreds. You have my sincere apologies Damian... and Alfred.

So, is anyone going to give any reviews for the dvd? Thanks.

"Fast Company" dvd by Andy Nieman

Does anyone own the "Fast Company" dvd by Andy Nieman? I've seen some of the card table moves on the trailer but the price is kind of high so I would like to get some feed back before I decide to make the purchase. Thanks everyone.
