Re: DeLand
Read about half the book (skimming past some explanation parts ) really enjoyable book. It's fun learning so much history and the ads and engravings are funny and stunning. Not to mention the cool tricks along the way.

Re: Theodore Deland
If you set the price at $125 and had to raise it to $150 in order to include 4 decks rather than 2, I would say include 4 decks. I am sure many others would agree with that! That’s my take on it. Something tells me that you will include 2 decks and keep the price at $125. :( I would agree, assuming...

Re: Theodore Deland
What would be the price difference though? One reason he is including two decks is that of min order sizes etc. So it sounds like to include both a practical deck and a "period" deck would raise the cost of the book, maybe substantially, because your now talking 4 decks per book. Personall...

Re: Theodore Deland
I would prefer the mandolin approach or as some have mentioned maiden backs. I feel like either are close enough.

Re: Why do people think it's okay to upload magic DVDs?
I can see Onlive working for gamers, but not as well for video distribution. You still have the screen capture problem. It won't be that much different than people hooking up VCRs (DVD-R's) to their televisions. Now we're back to square one. well your prolly never gonna get rid of it totally. befor...

Re: Why do people think it's okay to upload magic DVDs?
I don't often post at genii, but i wanted to chime in on some of the talk. DRM, 'dongle' or 2 step authentication are dead. what the Digital world including Media, software, movies, games is truly heading for is "cloud" computing. you can look it up for more technical details. Basically in...
