I have some strong opinions about some of the acts from North America and how they got "allowed" into FISM. If you are at Magic Live find me ask me about it and I will give you an ear full.

Its a problem facing magic all-round as we would soon discover. Has magic really not progressed in 20+ years ? Where is the innovation and excitement that we are so desperately hankering after. It's because so many people have a norrow minded view of what magic is and those people are in charge of ...

I like the fact "weirder" magic is becoming into the public eye. Might make my job easier.

As for the "No camera tricks etc etc" disclaimer.. the reason they don't use that stuff on shows like Blaine and Angel is simple. They would be lying.

I prefer two methods depending on the show. I always hated the stack switch so I created a switch that leaves the blades on display sperated even after the switch. That however is used for my magic stage show. For my sideshow I use a no switch to music bit modified from the Ellis in Wonderland Lectu...

Assuming the master move is the flip move not the pass (I havn't seen the video in some time.) the way to rpevent flashing is making sure you turn the board RIGHT where the thumb meets the hand, right in that crook. It hides everything if done right.

It works the same as the lump of coal to present effect that came out a while back. It is a very quick, if you blink you'll miss, kinda visual effect. Done properly and with other tricks it would fit in very well.
