Sadly, since you are choosing to post anonymously, we can't judge your relative knowledge in such matters. ... Brian, unless you understand the AMA bylaws and relevant Corporations Code provisions yourself, I'd respectfully submit that undercut's identity won't tell you anything about his/her relat...

Re: The President of the Academy of Magical Arts RESIGNS

The AMA is a non profit mutual benefit corp. In response to Brian T's remark about celebs having to be smart enough to pick money managers, accountants, etc. One only needs to read the headlines to see how Madoff and other advisors and money managers have ripped off their celeb clients to see how w...

Re: The President of the Academy of Magical Arts RESIGNS

The AMA By-Laws and Standing Rules provide for the naming of a new President when a President does not finish his term. The Vice President is automatically named President. Accordingly, Neil Patrick Harris is President of the AMA until the end of his current term (March 2012). The Board will hold a...

Re: The President of the Academy of Magical Arts RESIGNS

There is NOTHING about being a skilled magician, or about being a celebrity, that matches up with being an executive or a Board Member. Check out how many of either are on Fortune 500 companies. I don't know why, but I find this both funny and naive. I think every celebrity has had to acquire busin...

Re: Statement to Grievance Committee by Bill McIlhany, January 22, 2011

Yes, Brian, what I wrote IS what you said! I wrote it down as you said it! Previously I explained that the non-AMA tapes copied at CBS were never going back to the AMA So, basically, you took your tapes to CBS under the name of, and courtesy of an agreement with the AMA, and had no intention of all...

Re: Statement to Grievance Committee by Bill McIlhany, January 22, 2011

Brian Tolman As the AMA Board member who allowed and helped Cowley seize control of the AMA Video Library, Tolman spoke only briefly in defense of Cowley. He said he had three points to make. First, that AMA tapes are missing. Jim Starr has demonstrated that the missing tapes were not in the librar...

Also, I would to state that it is my honest hope that both Rich and Bill can put this behind them.

I know that will be debated, but my friends that know me, know this is my true feeling.

Re: New Documents from Cowley #3 - Castle Grievance filed against Bill McIlhany by Rich Co

I think Rich & Tim presented for a combined time of 3.5 hours. I testified for about 10 minutes. I have no idea how long Bill presented for, but I do know he was allowed into the committee meeting for all the testimony. From what I understand, Randy will reconvene the committee after giving the ...

mr goat said: You can imbed two coloured pixels into a stream on the fly. You can put them in random locations, so any attempts to obfuscate would be invalid. Re: Scary Rumors Regarding the Magic Castle

There's a few reasons that why the HoB couldn't move in: 1. Its zoned for club or fraternal organization. The AMA meets that standard, the HoB would have to work hard to do it. 2. They couldn't get a liquor license in a short time. Sure money solves a lot of problems, but it would take ALOT of time....
