Re: Why is editing so bad in magic publications?

I love magic books. I've got 2,000 or so here in my office. They are technical books, and accuracy and clarity are important, so my small efforts in that regard are worth it to me. I do try to recoup some money from the work I do so I can continue to make purchases. It's worth it to some authors and...

I might add Patrick Page's great "Old Moore's Diary" trick, still available from http://www.PatrickPageMagic.co.uk. It's also described in the big "Magic Page by Page" book I edited, along with two Ted Danson diary versions.

I was a good friend of Harvey's for several years (as was Richard K.). For a couple of years I was included in a back-and-forth video 'conversation' he had with the great Allan Ackerman. From the material in those videos, I decided to write a book of Harvey's stuff, but his inability to make decisIo...

Rob Zabrecky’s autobiographical memoir Strange Cures is a great read (for mature readers). It’s a 345 page trip through the childhood and mid-20s of a musician who became a magician. Growing up in the southern California suburbs, Zabrecky found himself in a boring environment. Starting grade school ...
