Erdnaseophile...it was easy. In Chrome, right-click the picture and pick Google image search. Narrow the search in the popup to just the coin, then run the search.

I remember that briefcase from when David was in Sacramento, CA for the A-1 Multimedia "Convention at the Capital" in the late '90s. He did many of his famous routines at about 10am. Even though he was obviously tired, he "set" himself and walked on, and executed everything the w...

There is sooo much outstanding material to study, especially in the area of card magic.

Do we really need anything from Ricky, other than his performances?

I just wish that "Off The Stem" had been recorded.

I thought Brad's comment was a reference to a similar story, years ago, about Blackstone on Broadway, when Blackstone Jr. was taking his show there.

"And who will be playing the part of Blackstone?"

Re: Question about Card in Wallet routine in The Book of John

I agree with Richard...the surprise is more important than the “cleanliness” of the routine, especially because having the wallet visible kind of tips the punchline.

Speaking of structuring for surprise, John Bannon has a really good card to wallet routine in one of his early hardbacks.

Joe, that was Steve Martin back when he was on fire. He had a deliberate almost anti-comedy style that went against the standard comedy of the time. If you're not familiar with his work I can see how it wouldn't make sense to you. There was a period when Steve Martin was one of the hottest comics in...

From my reading of the article, what's likely to happen is that the combined company will sell off several of the brands as it tries to raise cash and straighten out its situation going forward. Time will tell if that includes Bicycle and Sharpie.
