Berglas and Nyman need new homes
Hi guys. Trying to find a home for these two collector's books. The first has been known to change hands for a thousand dollars. The latter five hundred or more. So you can see these prices are fair. These are duplicates from my library. I don't want to hall all of this stuff across the Tasman when ...

lol. More like the 1980's. The plastic bills (our plasticized versions now include the $5, $10, $20 and $50-- along with the $100) are a discipline all of their own. Hard to crease for instance. Can be a problem, but you work around it. They all have clear plastic windows--a wonderful opportunity to...

Re: Hold 'Em Magic
And, as Don's video performance shows, you DO NOT have to follow dealing protocol to create hold 'em magic. (Something that I am criticized for with PSI-POKER [2011] which has a dealing discrepancy). I would bet that the majority of effects in Tom's new book will NOT follow exact dealing protocol. I...

Re: Psi-Poker by Ben Harris
Seasoned Hold 'em players are not the intended audience. So that should be kept in mind. This never has been pitched as a hard-core hold 'em demo. It's an EASY TO DO and neato prediction effect, that's all. The fact that the POKER hand is played out from a "recollected dream" (or state of ...

Hi Tom,
Thank you for your review. Please note that a beautiful PRINTED version is also available from all fine dealers now. Luxury paper, deluxe heavy cover and saddle stitched. In our opinion, well worth the $20.00.

"Yes but every time the Cafe is down, they wind up over here."
And, I imagine Richard would welcome the additional flow of "idiots" (as MrGoat calls the Cafe members) with open arms.

Re: Silent Running by Ben Harris
Hi Manuel, I appreciate your reasoned feedback. I am convinced that the problem some are having with SR is due to my failure to convey the nuances of the "sell." After all, it DOES work wonderfully for many. For example: were Tom Frame's audiences (see the post at the head of this thread) ...

Re: Silent Running by Ben Harris
Off topic, but Tommy's new "Subtle Scam" (available from lybrary.com) is a very clever approach. It's not a pure ACAAN, however it plays very nicely. If you refrain from having the freely selected card (and the freely selected number) named until AFTER the preliminary effect, then it's eve...

Re: Silent Running by Ben Harris
Manuel, Your observation about salesmanship is probably accurate. I think this is why I and those who perform successfully with SR get the amazing results we do. We know (either instinctively, or through experience) HOW to sell it. Just like Tom Frame (in his review at the head of this thread) knows...

Bob,
You see, you've done it again. Your script (let's call it that) is NOT SR at all. You've missed the point. That's NOTHING like how it should be constructed and I think you know that.
Mr Goat.
I love tussling with ya man. You are great for sales.
