I have to agree. It would have been pretty funny if Richard Wiseman was the black guy.

Signed into Ask Alexander account on the 17th and gave it a few days before trying the app again but I'm still getting the "Authentication failed" error. Any ideas?

Re: Genii iPad App Has Been APPROVED!
I was experiencing the same problem as Jim (wouldn't accept my login info). Decided I would try to delete the app and re-download but now it won't let me do that. I'm getting an error that says "The item you tried to buy is no longer available."

Just wanted to add that I recall seeing a Tom Snyder show inside the castle (1996 or 97?). The show presented many of the rooms with people present. Also featured several magicians performing to laypeople inside the various rooms.

Re: A question regarding the pass
I have always preferred a very soft, flowy technique. It is my belief that any strain or tension will cause an alarm to go off in the spectators mind. You may want to ask yourself if you are going to be using it as a secret move that no one is aware of or a "look what I can do" move. Riffl...

I'll second the advice to play around with it and make it work for you. Once you find the sweet spot--the way you want it to look--then start practicing.

Re: A question regarding the pass
I don't apply any force (upward/downward/both) during the move. The technique that I use is closer to a classic pass with a riffle as cover rather than a simultaneous riffle and pass. I have tinkered around with the latter, and I would recommend learning the move softly from the start as opposed to ...

I think I saw a version of John Hirokawa's show around 1992 at a New Year's Eve event in Honolulu. I recall an Okito style floating ball routine that was GREAT!

Hey Curtis, do you know Glen Fujimoto? This guy is responsible for my passion in magic. About 12 or 13 years ago he rekindled my interest in magic by selling me a few tricks at Aloha fleamarket. Around 1993 I told him I was leaving the island and he gave me a few tricks for free. I haven't seen him ...
