I have never seen one, but do own various letters, instruction sheets, and one prop made by The Blackstone Magic Co. I know of one collector who told me he has a photo of the premises, but he has not been able to locate it. Since the firm lasted for only 18 months or so in the late 20s, the existenc...

Re: Disneyland's Main Street Magic Shop in Jeopardy...
The problem at Disney is the new safety testing law which covers all products (toys) aimed at children 12 or under. Due to the generally low volume of tricks produced by most magic manufacturers (in comparison, to a new toy from Hasbro, for example), the cost of testing products is prohibitive and c...

Good eye, Bob. The cover is based on an old stock poster printed by (if I remember correctly) Great Western Litho ca. 1910. There are no posters of the book cover as far as I know.

Not that your daughter would want to do this... Percy Abbott made a feature of the Canvas Covered Box, as have many other performers. By now, if your favorite dealer doesn't have them in stock, well, he's missing the boat!

Pete-
No joke, belive me! In the few short days we have had these cards in stock, they have proven to be a gigantic hit.
As for hawking them like a D'lite, rest easy folks, that ain't gonna happen. Or rather, if it does, FUN Inc. will not be guilty party.
