I have a vague recollection that Billy O'Connor was the subject of one of John Booth's chapters in his MEMOIRS OF A MAGICIAN'S GHOST series (published in THE LINKING RING).

In EPOPTICA #4 (June 1983), Jeff Busby referred to a number of publishing projects that he had 'in the works'.

One of those referred to was "The Innovative Card Magic of Hideo Kato".

Charles Jordan's 'Fate and the Joker' may be what Bob is referring to. It uses a deck stacked in pairs - each pair adds up to fourteen, and each pair consists of either a club-spade or a heart-diamond combination.

This effect was included in "CHARLES JORDAN'S BEST CARD TRICKS" (1992).
