Magic in the Night...Johnny Thompson-Penn Special Show Time

I just finished watching the special on Showtime: "Gambler's Ballad: Johnny Thompson, The Legend." The special also features Penn who "put" this together with many others. It is worth your watching. The final special "bit', Gamblers Ballad with Penn and Johnny, is priceless,...

MINDLESS RESEARCH for “IMPROMPTU” SMOKE: I had 20 minutes to kill today and was at a local gas station/convenience store. I am in South Carolina so it was a Parkers. I own a Vapr Watch. Hells Kitchen Sends Women to Magic Castle

Tonight's (Friday) Hell's Kitchen episode sent a team of women to the Magic Castle as a treat. I was excited to see the Castle on the show. I forgot how TV often treats magic. The Castle is incredible, a treasure, an adventure, et cetera. Unfortunately on this show, for me, it was a real disappointm...

Most Unusual Gig You Have Had? LONG

I thought it might be fun to share some unusual gigs we have had. I have been performing magic for over 65 years. Last Saturday, I had a gig unlike anything in all those years. About 4 months ago I was booked through an on-line booking Board. The client, a woman, wanted a magician for an adult birth...

Please excuse this "amateur-ish" question on Coin Magic. I am primarily a close up magician who does very little coin magic. I have a show coming up for a Coin Club. I want to perform a magical experience with a TUC coin. However, the gimmick has to be signed. When you are having a gimmick...
