It seems the text is okay now in the default view, but still centred when the darker page stylesheet is selected.

FWIW . . .

Mr. Jerry Sadowitz has at long last set up his own website . . .

I must admit, I'm a tad surprised this topic hasn't been locked down already . . .

Re: New Trick Columnists?

Psychotic or not, and I don't know him, no matter what anyone says about Jerry Sadowitz, the fact still remains that he is one of the top card men in the world. I doubt that anyone in these boards would ever question his skill with a deck, but further than that, he is (for my money) a creatively thi...

Re: History of the 'Bill in Cash Register Scam'

The late British singer/actor Adam Faith appeared in a TV series called 'Budgie' about an ex con which aired from 1970 - 1972. I remember in one episode his character pulled a similar stunt where he had 20 pound notes with consecutive serial numbers. He would walk into a small newsagents and pass a ...

Re: Penn Jillette's joke.

I am so desperate to see this movie but it looks like I'll need to wait for the DVD (which there WILL definitely be). There's some great background info on the movie over at it's official website including a great read of Penn's diary written during and after the making of the movie. Highlights of t...

Larry Jennings On Line !!

Thanks to Lee Asher and Bill Goodwin for a great site honouring the late great Mr. J. A free previously unreleased effect is available as a PDF download as well as some rare video footage, a biography, and bibliography. It's well worth clicking on the 'Mailing List' link as it provides some great an...

Re: Extreme Show Off - online video

Just to give a little background on 'Harwin', or to give him his real name Jonas Haglund. . . He is still a very young man and although his forte is flourishing, at which he is just superb, he can certainly cut it when it comes to straight out Card Magic. He mostly frequents flourishing fora, most n...

The Great Buck Howard ??

It was announced recently that Tom Hanks and his actor son Colin would both feature in a new movie centred in the world of magic called 'The Great Buck Howard'.It will also feature Kevin Kline (one of my faves) and is being written and directed by Sean McGinly. It doesn't go into production for anot...

Excellent Arthur ! Magnifique !
As Harold said, that change is so so visual.
Well ok . . I added an extra 'so', but 'so' what?

Loved it. :)

Thanks . . .

Re: Steven Youell's Lecture Notes

I can only echo everything that has been said above. I too am not related in any way to Steven but the man and his work are a class act. I have been in the process of writing up a review of WMD for the past two weeks, and I'm still not happy with any of my drafts for the simple reason that it's hard...

Re: bee brand cards with a white border???

Thanks for that James.
I can get standard Bees (genuine!) here in Mainland China for around $3 US.
I have yet to come across 'real' Bikes here yet, though the fakes can be got at around $5 US.

Once again, thanks for the link. I'm on it now.

Best wishes . .

Re: You won't believe this

What impresses me most about it is that it could elevate ( pun fully intended ) an Ambitious Card Routine onto a whole new plateau. If it's used as a finale for the routine (where else?!) it might (might) just get the folks REALLY believing that the card was penetrating through to the top(or bottom ...
