Wouldn't those be his Gold Seal Bikes? If so, those are readily available.

Re: Cardini Decks Now Available

I saw them at $60 with 4.50 shipping. Heard that someone bought a large amount. If so, that's too bad the seller didn't have a deck limit of some sort. At $60 he may be sitting on them a while.

Leonard above mentions attention span. A interesting take from years ago when I had the chance to spend a few minutes with Walter Gibson at a great convention put together by Steve Dacri. Walter was talking to me about working with Houdini, and talking about safe escapes. He went on to say HH would ...

That's good to hear about the Vernon bio. The first book was so good, hard to have to wait this long for the second. I asked David at the last Genii Con and he thought it would be a while, but Richard would be more in the loop than me.

Re: Your opinions wanted: what do new magicians need to know about the history of magic?

Unfortunately, as books go out of print, and the names of creators fade into history, it will become harder to learn the history of the effect. That's if the person learning the effect even cares. The copycats of all the downloads being released hardly credit, thinking it's their idea or a different...

They make them and people buy them. On occasion, it seems like they ran out of clever ideas for theme decks. As someone stated before, I have a number of Bike gaffs and a few custom made, no sense in buying a deck twice the price and have make an obvious switch out to a different deck to do another ...

J. C. Wagner once said (not a direct quote), "you show them this killer sleight of hand with cards and coins and all they talk about is the f****
rabbits."

Was it Daryl that thought that once the spectator opens their hand and there's two spongeballs, the trick is over?

Yes, a little humor from Mr. Keyes would go a long way. Like Brad, I'd love to see a video of a performance for an audience.
