Book Collection on Facebook

A woman asked for help getting the word out on selling her late father's book collection. She has them posted on Facebook as she wasn't sure what to do. They are in a number of different posts and they are pictures of the books. Her father was one of the early members of the Castle and his name is P...

A woman is selling her father's magic book collection on FB. He was an early member of the Castle, Paul Westerling. She will be moving cross country and would rather not take all the books with her. Would it be ok to post the FB link?

Think the guy knew magic? He must have had a basic knowledge. Maybe the Ricky Jay question might have been the more obscure... Although, he started with a couple magic questions and changed to a different category before returning to finish it off.

It's funny the selection of quality cards we have now, and can pick and choose. I'm sure a lot of the classic effects were created with cards we wouldn't use today. Anyone know what the quality was like of those older decks?

Lassen is the best, but not taking orders anymore. He'll put out random stuff for sale, recently Silver Eagle sets, but you have to be on his mail list and act quickly. There are others, but I haven't done business with them.

He ducked to get in the door of my office and when he shook my hand, most of my arm was gone. BTW, he couldn't have cared less about the tour ...

Re: Last magic shop in New England closes

Unfortunately, trying to compete with Penguin/Murphy's is tough for any shop. Trying to provide huge stock and good prices is difficult for any brick and mortar shop. The way "new" and shiny things are released daily, a small shop can't keep up.

I won't pre-order any product or participate in a Kickstart program. Safer to spend a few more dollars for an actual product. On top of that if it is subpar you're not stuck with some expensive crap.
