Re: Jim Swain in the News
I cannot speak for Mr. Maven, 'natch, but to my knowledge there are currently only two books in the Billy Cunningham series, Take Down, and Bad Action. Both are fun reads and need not be read in order, but doing so makes sense while there are so few. There is a third book in the Billy Cunningham se...

Re: looking for books and magazines
I have a brand-new unread copy of the 2nd printing (the paperback version) of this I would be willing to sell. Make me an offer (by PM). I got it as a gift, so it's my second copy.
I tried sending you a PM but it seems to be stuck in my Outbox.

For the purposes of planning air travel and hotel reservations, when will you have some idea of a start time on 10/2 and an end time on 10/5? Specifically trying to figure out if I should fly in the night before (10/1) or the morning of (10/2). Same on the back end -- fly out late 10/5 or need to ge...

I highly recommend Mark Elsdon's (ebook and/or printed booklet) Hidden Gems. He lists over 100 gems of magic that are largely unknown and where to find them. I second that recommendation, having just got my copy of Hidden Gems . It is a fun read in its own right, and has now launched my on a "...

Well, I got it working (but the icon/hover help issue persists). It all seems to hinge on how one gets to the issue. Getting there directly (as a recent issue) means that printing simply won't work (even though it looks okay, as Bill's instructions suggest). The PDF that gets downloaded is empty. I ...

What is the status of printing from a recent issue? Searching the forum, I have seen several status reports, but uncertain what should be possible. You could use a clear plastic change bag (easily found with Google). For the letters you could use Scrabble tiles, or even those beads with letters used to make baby-name bead bracelets (available at your local crafts store).
