Re: Jimmy Grippo

In GENII no 10 vol 57, August 1995, page 756-757, Tony Giorgio tells a very good story of Jimmy Grippo and his card index.
(One of the better card index is described by Charlie Miller in GENII, October 1973)

Re: Identify this gimmick

If the gimmick fits on the thumb, this might be a gimmick for the thumb tie. Harries in Sweden earlier sold something similar for the thumb tie. When you cross your thumbs, the gimmick shall be on the lower thumb with the big flat side of the gimmick on the lower side. You can let a spectator tie a ...

Tim Star is back in business

We in Sweden are very proud that Tim Star has moved back to Sweden and is manufacturing and selling his legendary magic equipment again. He is manufacturing all his stuff close to the house where he grew up, not so far from the Harries magic company where he started his career about 30 years ago! Lo...

Re: Egg, lemon, orange and canary

Alan Shaxon has a very nice version using a lemon, egg and valnut in his superb book "My kind of magic". The book is probably possible to get from any of the second hand book dealers ("Bradbury books and beyond" for example) or maybe "Magic books by post" still have new...

Clean up after Nemo Rising card?

What to do when the last card and envelope has rised and spectator is holding the houlette?

If magician moves toward spectator, the card and envelope will go down back into the deck again.

Has anyone tried som sort of locking mechanism on rised card and envelope?

I ordered the Kaps DVD yesterday and is very eager to get it.

Can anyone who already has the DVD (Pete Biro?) confirm if the long film sequence in colour showing the complete classic Fred Kaps stage act that ended the lecture in FISM/Haag is included?

If so, this must be the DVD of the century!
