Re: Bridge Size Double Face Cards

http://www.MakePlayingCards.com is all you need my friend! I use them for making my own cards all the time. I have always ordered either Poker or Jumbo size, but they have all the sizes. I mean, like, literally every size, lol. Also lots of paper qualities to choose from - everything from super che...

Re: Good video camera to use online

Honestly, I just use my iPhone for everything. I use it to capture demo videos from my shows and I use it in all my virtual shows over the summer. One librarian even remarked at how great my picture was! And all I was using was my cell phone and normal lights in my room. This is not to say that ther...

Re: Card size survey

I took the survey. A couple of thoughts: first, the difference in size between bridge and poker is only one quarter of one inch. A poker size card is 2.5" wide by 3.5 inches tall. A bridge card is 2.25" x 3.5". It may seem like a big difference, but it's really not. Also -- and I put ...

Re: Pitch DVD/Book course

I personally love Mark being a part of discussions, but thing is that you have to understand he grumpy old man who plays in to the character of a grumpy old man. If I ran a forum that was trying to be welcoming to new people I would probably ban him, too. You can find him on Facebook in the Magic Bi...

Re: Pitch DVD/Book course

New member of the forum here: I'm just curious, whatever came of this? I tried my hand at Svengali pitching about 15 years ago or so. I had bought the DVD from Don Driver and did it at some flea markets but never made good money. It's funny - the flea market guys thought I was killing it because I m...

Re: DMCA Takedown Notice H*ll

DRM can annoy your customers because it makes it harder for them to do what they want to do with what they have paid for. I'll give you one example: I once bought a digital download of a big budget blockbuster movie from Amazon, but when I tried to watch it on my computer I kept getting an error say...

Re: Balloon Twisting Magic

I think it's helpful to think of balloons as part of the stage dressing for a routine than the focus of it. One of the staples of my kids' magic show (it's been in my show consistently since I started performing professionally ~7 years ago) has been a routine called the Mind Reading Hat. The origina...
