Re: Are Children more Imaginative than Adults?

I agree Dustin. Children are more imaginative because they aren't hindered by having to act like an adult. They are free to look and act as silly as they choose. Adults cannot because they think it would make them look somehow less than adult. Adults worry more about others opinions than children do...

Re: 3 shell game tips

Bob Sheets introduced me to the 3 shell game at a lecture. He and Glenn Morphew have a 1 minute bootcamp DVD which teaches the basics in the form of a routine drill.

Bob also is featured in the Scoundrels Touch DVD/Download mentioned above.

Location filming was done in Lawrenceburg, KY which is 10 minutes south of the Capitol, Frankfort, and 20 minutes from Lexington. I actually picked up a couple of the display cards at an auction in Lawrenceburg. I would share a jpg, but everything is in climate control storage at the moment.

Re: RIP Max Maven

While the magic world grieves the loss of Max, we can be thankful that we were able to witness him in performance on TV or in person and experience him unlike so many past masters who we can only know through the written word. My third timed seeing/visiting with him was at the Genii 2017 Convention....

I have the booklet but not selling. If she emails me with her permission, I would be glad to scan and send you the pdf - terrell1963@juno.com

Jeremy Griffith noted in his Vanishing Inc Expert at the Card Table download that he suffers from hand tremors. He found working with the cards on the table helped to settle the shakiness and let him develop very good chops.

In 1995 the IBM held their convention in Salt Lake City. In the dealers someone was selling a rip-off Origami. I was working with Harry Allen at Daytona booth when this happened. I remember how pissed you were. You told us the guy would most likely take it up to his room and continue selling it fro...

In 1995 the IBM held their convention in Salt Lake City. In the dealers someone was selling a rip-off Origami. As soon as I entered the room, a group of concerned looking magicians came up to me and told me about the prop. When I got to the booth, others quickly came up to see what would happen. I ...

Paul was one of the truly great guys. After Bob Bengal told me about him, I met Paul at the Florida State Magic Conference held in Maitland, FL in the early 90's.
