Re: card college DVD's and list of card tricks for newbie

I think for me, reading the books and then using the dvd's to make sure I was getting the techniques down correctly seemed to be the best way for me to learn. I bought the entire Card College series and was lucky enough to get my hands on the Card College dvd set from Mr. Giobbi and they are awesome...

Re: Patina on a new set of RNT Paul Fox Cups

Hey Karnak, Not a problem at all. When I called, I asked him right off the bat what was the quickest way to get a good patina going on the cups and he told me to just use them and it would take care of itself. He said that because the patina on the copper is the result of an "oxidation" pr...

Re: Patina on a new set of RNT Paul Fox Cups

Hey Karnak, I spoke with Donnie down at Rings and Things before I had him send me a set of the "Paul Fox VS" combo cups. I asked about the baking idea and he told me under no circumstances was I to bake the cups. He told me that once the cups reach a temperature of 177 degrees, it destroys...

Re: Patina on a new set of RNT Paul Fox Cups

Hey Robert, Thank you very much for the insight, I really appreciate it. They are satin finished copper and I certainly won't do any type of chemical treatment. They arrived this morning and I worked with them most of the day and this evening I have been rolling and working them in my hands while si...

Patina on a new set of RNT Paul Fox Cups

I hope everybody is doing well and I was hoping for some advice. I just purchased a new set of "RNT Paul Fox VS. Combo Cups" from Donnie and they are just awesome. I finally had the funds, took the plunge and I couldn't be happier. I was wondering if anybody had any advice for getting that...

Anybody know what happened Xavier Perret?

I was just wondering if anybody had any idea what happened to Xavier Perret? He was the French magician that had some awesome tutorials and videos on Youtube and Facebook. We spoke several times about cards and techniques but I haven't been able to contact him for quite awhile and all us his content...

Re: Multiplying Balls - Vernet VS Fakini

I don't know if anybody has had the chance to try out a set of the new "Bond Lee" manipulation balls but they are incredible! I've had the pleasure of working with John Sterlini and having three different sets, two sets in the 1.7" and I currently have moved up to the 2" balls. T...

I've had the pleasure of working with John Sterlini and having three different sets of the Bond Lee manipulation balls, two sets in the 1.7" and I currently have moved up to the 2" balls. The feel and control of these are beautiful. The shells are a wonderful surprise and fit the balls ext...

Re: Multiplying Balls - Vernet VS Fakini

Hey Brad!

Funny you should ask! It actually was as good of a deal because that is the exact set I acquired!

Best $8.27 I have ever spent.

Re: Multiplying Balls - Vernet VS Fakini

I just picked up a set of the wooden "Mikame" hollow multiplying balls from a antique shop in Omaha. The balls, wooden shells and the box are all in wonderful condition. I think it is safe to say that I was in the right place at the right time for these. It was a deal that I could not refu...

Re: Looking for a set of RNT Mendoza cups.

Hey Q,

I would have loved to have seen those and it's sounds like they went to a good home. I'm thinking I may just have to break down and buy a set from Ring's and Thing's. Their over $300 a set but worth every penny.
