Re: The Contents of The Secrets of So Sato
This is one of those books I'll have to set aside some money for. Looks great, Richard.

WTB: Penumbra Issue 3
I know this is really hard to come by, but if anyone has an issue they wouldn't mind parting with, message me or email me at anonymousmagician [at] gmail.com. Thanks!

Re: "Secret Subtraction" substitution?
Thanks, Mr. Webb! Yes: ATFUS would work as well; however, I find moves like ATFUS, SS, and the Braue Addition to feel very unnatural since they require you to go to the deck for no particular reason. (M. Close has written about this previously). I also find the displays of the cards look unnatural ...

Re: The Jerx Year Two
at least one person has made the comparison to the largely literary movement that was the foundation for much of the bizarre magic literature. 'as Doc Shadow and I were sitting in the study sipping port, there was a knock on tne door. It was our friend Inspector Truzzi, he had an odd shaped package...

Re: "Secret Subtraction" substitution?
What's the context of the routine, if you don't mind sharing? That is, what are you doing at this point in the trick, and what do you need to switch the cards for (e.g., inserting them into the deck, placing under the box, etc.)? Context: Spread through face up deck, upjog or take out 4 indifferent...

Re: LARRY HORAYNE Blog
Action Palm (actionpalm.wordpress.com) is another good one. I wish Tony Chang's Double Facers blog was still up. (Or his lecture at the Magic Session, for that matter.)

Would, then, a pseudonym suffice? Assuming it's a consistent pseudonym one uses.

Re: Submitting to Magicana
Richard, is it possible to submit with a pseudonym or anonymously? (As my username would imply.)

Re: LARRY HORAYNE Blog
I agree with Scott M. I found Alex Hansford's work through Larry, and I'm glad I did. Larry also covers some more obscure stuff, like those Tony Chang notes that are impossible to find. Definitely more offbeat, but worth reading. He seems to have disappeared, though, at least for now.
