Abbott's vs. Fisher ?? Two dealers in Colon?

Postby Tom Dobrowolski » June 3rd, 2003, 6:41 am

Rick Fisher and his wife Cheryl have just formed a new magic company in Colon, Michigan. The new venture named "FAB Magic Company" will specialize in the design and manufacture of magic that will be distributed through a future retail shop in Colon and on the web. The company also plans on servicing many of the allied fields (6/3)

It seems strange: the middle initial in FAB stands for Abbott's! And they're in Colon. Huh?

I just wanted to respond to the postings regarding our FAB Magic Company in Colon, MI. Our intent is to build and sell quality magic. It is NOT our intent to run anyone out of business. We will carry only the finest products and if we cannot find them we will manufacture them. It is our desire to bring some "sparkle" back to the magic capital....It is a scary yet exciting proposition and we certainly have the "blessing" of Percy Abbott's daughter Marilyn-Abbott-Richards - who says "this is the best thing to happen to Colon and magicians in a long time"...Anyone with questions can certainly contact us....this is not just about dollars and is about a tradition started many years ago that we hope to continue...Rick Fisher, president FAB Magic.
