Has Dr. Hofzinser Arrived at your House Yet?

Discuss general aspects of Genii.

Postby Richard Kaufman » 10/17/05 05:57 AM

Some of you should start receiving the November issue any day. Hofzinser is on the cover and it's a hell of an article--lots of groundbreaking new stuff for those interested in card magic.
Would like to know how the current mail system is moving things, so please post here when you receive your copy. Thanks!

Anyone know what the usual time lag is between the US and the magazine hitting the shops in the UK?

I normally get my issue about two weeks after RK announces it.

But in this case I got mine the same day (Oct. 17th) here in Sacramento.

Kudos to Richard, Magic Christian, and Jon R. for the superb Hofzinser coverage.

If I started a subscription today, would I get this issue or would it start with next months? :)

Cheers,

Paul.

As I not yet have gotten the October issue, I neither could enjoy the Hofzinser issue, but I heared the rumour, he sooooon will come up with a 4 set DVD via L&L.

Something to look forward to, as they mentioned he doesn't use at all all those knuckle busting cardsleights but has them all replaced by use of simple gimmicked cards.
Right something for me!
Sounds exiting... :)

After only receiving last month's issue a few days ago, the November issue arrived today in the Dallas area. It is GREAT! If this is a new distribution system, it is working well for Dallas. Keep up the great work.

Thanks!

I believe that someone is compiling "Hofzinser in the UK" so you'll be able to see a quality selection of his work soon.

..alas..those of us who support magic shops (in my case magic inc) have not yet received our copies. however, from the reponses given it shouldn't be long before the november issue arrives where the streetlights cars aren't parked in the front yard.

Arrived Wednesday (10/19) in Griffith Indiana. Just superb.
I would like to encourage Roberto Giobbi to continue with the intriguing preludes which he shared in his column. This is great fuel for thought and creativity. I would appreciate an entire booklet of these "preludes" more than a booklet of fleshed out presentations. Kudos, Roberto.
The Maven had a very clever "Inquisition" this month as well.
