John Bannon's Wedding

Discuss the latest news and rumors in the magic world.

Im very happy to report that my good friend John Bannon married the delightful Christina in a simple New Years Eve ceremony. (For those of you who know John, no, this is not a Mirage, an Impossibilia, or Smoke and Mirrors it really happened!) This made our toasts last night doubly meaningful, and now makes it easier for John to remember his anniversary forever.

For those of you wondering about the progress of Johns new book, I can safely say one major distraction is now behind him. One of Johns New Years resolutions is to return his attention to his writing, and having edited the first draft several months ago, I know the material will be worth waiting for.

Ginny and I wish John and Christina all the best for many happy anniversaries, and we wish all of you a Happy New Year.

Any new book by John, is surely worth waiting for.

A quick question Simon.

Who will be publishing the new tome?

John prefers to make the easy decisions first (like getting married).

His book plans aren't fully finalized, but at this point he intends to publish it himself. In any event, it certainly will be available through the major distribution channels.

Congrats to John and his new bride...

In my cases, "marriage" was always a triumph of hope over experience, but considering John's superb taste, amazing intelligence, and ability to create real "magic," his latest commitment is reason enough to celebrate and send best wishes...

This also explains why I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday, poured a glass of champagne, and made an unintelligible toast in the darkness.

Now I know why...

Simon,

What's Christina's tolerance to watching card tricks like?
