I was thumbing through The Village Voice today, and ran across this... "Who's Not Ready Holler I" Huntington Village Theatre. Company Peter Zablotsky. A drama about confronting the magician within. Susanne's internal magician possesses the ultimate coping magic-the power to disappear. Her play explores the consequences of using magic we all conjure to shield the most vulnerable parts of ourselves. Washington Square United Methodist Church Fri8 3:45, Sat16 noon, Tue19 5:15 Wed20 7:45 Thur 21 7:15.
---Also in the New York Post, "Sherlock Holmes and The Secret of Making WhoopeeII: The Houdini Incident". It's a promising sequel to last year's "Whoopee," which The Post's Donald Lyons called "an intoxicating cocktail" of "low farce and high wit"... That's all I can tell you, both might be part of www.fringenyc.org.
