These are two very good books. The Kenner book has a great effect with business cards. Though I subscribed to The New Jinx as a young lad, I ddn;t have all of the issues -- the compilation is wonderful. I performed one of the routines by Ed Marlo ("Fortunatus" -- I think that's the title) for years.

What sort of material is in the New Jinx? Is it mainly mentalism like the original Jinx?

That was fast you sneaky guy you. I seems like only a few weeks ago you announced that you were "thinking about" reprinting Totally Out of Control. :D

I promised my wife she could buy this book for me so I'll tell her tonight.

Thanks again!

Having no joy trying to order Totally out of Control today from the link. Have you withdrawn the pre-pub offer?

When I add the book to the cart-page changes, but tells me that my card is empty and I should continue shopping.

Richard,
Are you still using International Economy Service or will it be Global Priority Mail - and if so what's the difference in price and expected delivery times?

I would thank to know some list of contributors or effects to New Jinx. Its difficult to get concrete or detailed information about this magazine.
Thanks in advance.

No deadline on the pre-pub yet, and slight delays with both books, and New Jinx is now at a different printer.

Richard,
I thought you are a printer. So "Kaufman & Company" will not imprint on my book? If that is not correct, then I am confused!

Kaufman and Co. is a publisher, not a printer.

Richard Perrin -- to clarify, Kaufman & Company are publishers. They arrange for the publication of the book. They get the authors, hire the artists, get the layout done, then they get the book printed.

Kaufman & Company will be the name on the book. Printers names are not generally on books, at least not prominently.

Just okayed the sample case. Books should be done by March 3. It takes another day or two to get them trucked over to the warehouse, checked in, and shipped out. So, say March 7 or so they should go in the mail.
This is the first time I've used this particular printer and so far things look excellent.

The New Jinx shipped from the printer to the warehouse today, right on schedule. Margret has made out all the labels and e-mailed them off, so books should probably be shipped out by Wednesday or Thursday. Books in the US are shipped by medial mail (we don't charge postage) and can take from 7 to 21 days to arrive.

Those of you who ordered ONLY Out of Control--your books have already been shipped.

I received my books yesterday and although I have not had time to read either of them in depth, I certainly have browsed each volume with great attention. Richard, you continue to amaze me with regard to pricing and quality of publication. I am at the point where I will blindly order anything produced with your name on it. This statement speaks volumes to your level of quality and overall customer service. I consider myself a reasonably patient, yet demanding customer and you continue to deliver on all aspects of my purchasing expectations. Thanks again!

Best regards,
Evan
